New Features Coming to No Man’s Sky?

Sean Murray, Managing Director of Hello Games, has explained that there will be free updates coming to No Man’s Sky, depending on the response to the game’s upcoming release. He’s already stated that No Man’s Sky will eventually get traditional multiplayer, in an interview with Gamespot.

They listen to you

Updates like these will be added as time goes on, and as the community asks for new features to be implemented; however, he did state this depends on the success of No Man’s Sky. Now here’s the real question: what do you want to be added to No Man’s Sky? I’ve scoured the internet for some of the top (unconfirmed), asked-for features!

Here’s the top five new features we’ve come up with:

  1. Base Building
  2. Player Customization
  3. A Planetary Map (of everywhere you’ve explored)
  4. Cross-Platform Play (Sean Murray has noted issues with this, at this current time)
  5. The Ability to Farm Animals

Endless possibilities

No Man’s Sky is filled with almost endless possibilities. From space-style dog-fights, to mining resources and joining factions. You can find space portals, discover new worlds, or become a merchant and never leave the confines of space. Over-all, the ultimate goal is to explore the universe, and moreover: have fun doing so. It is up to you, the community, to decide the game’s fate and where you all choose to take it.  With over 18 quintillion planets to explore, the universe is almost literally in your hands, in this gigantic sandbox adventure game. The Galactic Observer looks forward to joining you in your space conquest, this June (2016).
